A Visual Guide to Creative Bible Journaling

Join me as I explore new Scripture passages in these bite-size videos. Get the most out of your Bible journaling as I cover the need-to-knows and “How-Tos” of this spiritual art. Connect creatively with God as you meditate on a passage during the artistic process. Whether you are can barely draw a stick figure or you’re a pro, I’m here to help you take God’s Word deeper into your heart 🙂

To help you get started, here are links to some simple tools that I use in the process. You can achieve beautiful results that will stir your heart and mind as you look back in your journal or Bible. And you don’t have to spend a lot!

  • My number one fav is a set of Prisma Color Watercolor pencils. The colors are vibrant, so I can either use them dry or wet. You will LOVE these!
  • When using a wet medium, (watercolor, acrylic paint, etc.), you can prep your pages with clear gesso to prevent bleed through and make them more sturdy. Here’s the one that I prefer. It has a smooth texture.
  • Micron pens are THE BEST! They don’t bleed through and use quality archival ink for long lasting beauty. You need different sizes to make lettering more interesting. Here’s the great set that I’m using now.
