The beginning of another school year is upon us. Where did summer go already?!!! A couple weeks ago our church did a VBS camp with 550 kids and over 200 volunteers–amazing!!! It challeneged me to be thinking about seeing God in the ordinary. Because I’m caring for my mom at this time of my life, I wasn’t able to serve, but I was so blessed on Sunday when I got to see the wall where kids could put up a note and share a “God sighting” that happened during the week. This one really touched my heart . . .

I’ve been thinking lately about Bible study tips for busy people–since I’m one of the busy! Every day there are so many things battling for my attention. My phone is right by my bed, so the temptation to grab that first thing in the morning and start checking messages, email or some other rabbit trail is very tempting. Can you relate?

I don’t know about you but I’ve been clearing out drawers and cabinets. Spring is springing at my house and I’ve got the itch to give my house a sprucing up! Part of this “home freshening” has me also thinking about my walls and what I can do on a budget to bring them some sparkle:) So I got to work on some free printable wall art to not only brighten up your space, but also bring you spiritual encouragement and hugs from the Lord.
